Diamond color
While diamonds are available in a wide range of colors, colorless diamonds have traditionally been considered the most valuable. Most diamonds are ranked on a scale using the letters of the alphabet, from D (colorless), the highest score Z (light yellow). It 'hard for the untrained eye to see these color variations, unless the stones are compared side by side.
